College Football Fans

Ok so for this blog we will talk about something that relates to a lot of different people. College football. My girlfriends uncle came to me one day and said hey, "Ive got some folding chairs and a poker table, do you think we could do them in U of M colors?" After a quick trip over to see what we were working with an idea sprung. "Lets do them in Maze and Blue but lets also do the big M on the backs since we have all of this space." He immediately agreed.

Once i got the chairs and table back to the shop the first step was to disassemble all the chairs, which required drilling out rivets on every chair. After that it was a simple and quick sandblasting session to clear off the old paint and then the fun work could start. I started by spraying the backs in the opposite color of the chair so the M would really stand out. After that I ordered some high temp vinyls cut perfectly to the shape and size i needed. Vinyl on, spray the chair with the full color, and bake for 5 minutes. After that remove vinyl and bake for the remaining time.

As you can see the results were great. He was super happy and now just has to finish his felt on his table so we can play some cards.
